TroveSec Pricing Plans – Free, Growth & Scale Features

TroveSec has three plans. All plans include full access to Claude via MCP — the differences are in how many AWS accounts you can connect, how many findings you can see, how often you can scan, and which advanced features are available.

One AWS account = one IAM role connection. If you have separate accounts for production, staging, and a data science environment, that counts as 3.

On Free, you can connect one account. Growth supports up to 3. Scale is unlimited — useful for multi-account AWS Organizations setups.

On the Free plan, only 5 findings are returned per query — the 5 highest-severity findings from your most recent scan. This gives you a clear starting point but does not show the full picture.

On Growth and Scale, all findings are visible and searchable.

On Free, you can run one scan per week. This is enough to do a first assessment and track weekly progress. On Growth and Scale, scans are unlimited — you can scan after every deploy or on demand as often as you like.

API keys are how Claude Desktop authenticates to TroveSec. Each key connects one Claude Desktop session to your organisation.

On Free, one key is enough for a single developer. Growth allows 3 keys — enough for a small security or engineering team. Scale supports 10.

Risk acceptance (formally recording a business reason for not fixing a finding) requires Growth or Scale. On Free, the accept_risk tool is unavailable and Claude will explain why.

Weekly or bi-weekly security briefings delivered to your team by email — a summary of findings, posture score, and SOC2 status. Available on Growth and Scale; configurable under Settings → Briefings in your dashboard.

Visit your dashboard under Billing to upgrade. You can upgrade instantly — your new limits take effect immediately. Downgrading takes effect at the end of your billing cycle.

When Claude hits a plan limit, it will tell you clearly rather than silently returning incomplete data. For example:

  • On Free with a finding limit: “You’re on the Free plan, so I can only show your 5 highest-severity findings. To see all findings, upgrade to Growth.”
  • On Free with risk acceptance: “Risk acceptance requires Growth or Scale. Your current plan is Free.”

This way you always know what you’re seeing and what you’re not.
